Care Coordinators are social services individuals who provide comprehensive, local support to Service Members and Families in the context of a supportive professional relationship. The Government does not have a requirement for Care Coordinators to be Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LICSW). Care Coordinators meet with Service Members and Families in their homes and in other local settings at times that are convenient for the Service Member and/or family. Care Coordinators are trained in military culture, coaching and counseling and service coordination and meet the continuing education and/or licensing requirements to maintain their credentials.

• Care Coordinators have access to clinical supervision and peer support through regular team meetings and constant inter-communication and collaboration with each other and with other professionals from military, VA, and local civilian programs and practices.

Must have a current driver's license
Continuing Education: Care Coordinators shall complete 12 hours per year of relevant clinical training (e.g., PTSD training, MBTI training).
Must speak English fluently

Desired (not required) Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or another Human Service-related field.
