Overview:
We have a great opportunity for you to play a key role in Servco’s Auto Distribution operation overseeing the daily operation of our Carrier Services division.
This position will manage the Carrier Services department’s daily operations, maintenance, and appearance of the carriers; work with Vehicle Processing Center’s Port Operations to sustain a continuous flow of our inbound and outbound vehicles to and from our storage facilities; support our dealerships, marketing, and fleet customers in ensuring timely deliveries; and ensure quality, appearance and completeness of vehicles prior to customer delivery.
This position will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and productive department to support Vehicle Processing Center’s and Servco’ overall business and performance objectives.

Maintain accurate and updated records related to Safety, Hazmat, Environmental, and DOT CDL requirements
Maintain fleet to ensure carriers are in safe operational conditions and working with vendors to ensure safety of equipment
Conduct daily and safety operational meetings with team
Establish productivity standards and performance goals of the employees
Communicate Servco policies and government regulations to staff and ensure they understand and follow
Work with dealerships to establish delivery schedule and ensure deliveries meet the delivery schedule
Operate carrier to help with various operational needs
Collaborate with other department managers to prepare the department’s long and short-range goals
Forecast long-range improvements for the carrier services operations, equipment, and labor
Qualifications:
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum three years of supervisory work experience overseeing CDL drivers including preparing business plans, budgets, and developing policies and procedures
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
CDL A license preferred
Hazmat certification preferred
Must be able to obtain TWIC certification
Basic automotive and trucking industry knowledge
Knowledge of Department of Transportation laws and policies as it relates to CDL A drivers and vehicles
Knowledge of Hazmat laws
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong leadership skills
Must be a strategic planner, detail oriented and a strong problem solver
Customer focused and safety conscious
