Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

Duties
- Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Keep reports of transactions

Requirements
- Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions
- Experience in retail sales and operating a cash register is preferred
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations when required
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling inquiries professionally
- Previous experience in a grocery store setting is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
