Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Restaurant Cashier. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant. Responsibilities-

Customer Service:

*Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude. *Assist customers in placing orders and provide recommendations when necessary. *Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.

Order Processing:

*Accurately input orders into the POS system. *Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions with precision. *Ensure the accuracy of bills and provide customers with the correct change.

Maintain Cleanliness:

*Keep the cashier area and surrounding workspaces clean and organized. *Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

Team Collaboration:

*Work collaboratively with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operations. *Communicate effectively with colleagues to address any customer concerns.

Cash Handling:

*Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift. *Follow established cash handling procedures to prevent discrepancies.

Qualifications:

*Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred. *Strong numerical and math skills. *Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. *Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude. *Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing. *Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
