Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate and efficient transactions at the cash register. Responsibilities: - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers - Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Greet customers and provide assistance as needed - Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Upsell products and promote special offers or promotions - Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits - Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets - Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service Requirements: - Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role - Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service - Strong communication skills in English (Spanish language skills are a plus) - Knowledge of retail sales principles and techniques - Familiarity with cash register systems and POS terminals - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
