Anthem Academy of Music is a growing music school in search of a cello teacher to join our faculty. The ideal teacher is committed to creating a positive, inspiring environment for students to progress and develop as musicians from the very first lesson. The teacher should emphasize proper technique and music fundamentals so that students can grasp lesson concepts. Furthermore, communication is key with both the students and/or parents so that objectives are clear.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct private music lessons
• Demonstrate proper form and technique
• Assist students as they explore and develop as musicians
• Ensure lessons are effective, engaging, and fun

Qualifications:

• Degree in area of desired teaching (minimum requirement: bachelor's)
• Past teaching experience (minimum requirement: 2 year)
• Ability to teach all levels of learning and most ages (preferably 7+)
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Multi/bilingual candidates preferred but not required
