This position is for a Custodian at the Central Library, downtown Indianapolis.

We're searching for someone who is a self-starter, can manage themselves, and complete assigned work without requiring intense supervision.

Hourly wage is between $15-16 per hour, dependent on skills and experience qualifications.

Must pass a 5 panel drug screen and Indiana State Police background check. Persons who have been arrested for, or convicted of, crimes against children are disqualified.

Primary duties include general janitorial service of hard floors (dry/wet mopping), walls (spot cleaning), carpets (vacuuming/spot removal), furniture (dusting and vacuuming), and restrooms (clean and sanitize/disinfect) using established company procedures. Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Attend safety meetings and other related meetings. Perform other job related duties as required e.g. event setup/teardown and associated support.
