Job Description

The Des Moines VAMC is seeking a The Contractor shall provide CRNA Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and VACIHCS (Des Moines VA Medical Center)

A current CV that identifies the provider's education and professional qualifications commensurate with CRNA duties and a minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience as a CRNA within the last three (3) years.

Shift:
Normal hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Off-hours Coverage:
Contractor must make the Contractor’s CRNA(s) available on-call during all hours when the facility clinic is closed, including evenings, weekends and holidays. NOTE: Each CRNA may expect to cover 25% of facility CRNA off-hours coverage.

On-Call Weekday Coverage:
Monday - Friday; 3:30 p.m. through 7:00 a.m. of the following day (15.5-hour shifts)

On-Call Weekend Coverage:
Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day (24-hour shifts).

On-Call Holiday Coverage:
8:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. of the following day (24-hour shifts).

On-call providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone from initial contact attempt and on-site within 60 minutes of initial contact attempt.
