THE JOB:

It is the is the primary responsibility of the Charter Service Coordinator to assist with flight/hotel reservations initiated by Junket Representatives, complete a variety of flight operational tasks, and collaborate with other departments/properties to achieve the highest level of service for MGMAir guests.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Process and confirm reservation submissions from outside rep and branch sources for flights, hotel, and special requests.

  • Complete tour rooming lists, flight seating, and manifests using Excel. Prepare welomce packets and greet arriving and departing groups in the bus lobby. Update MGMAir hotline, as needed.

  • Work closely with internal departments such as Front Desk, Group Desk, Front Service, VIP, Player Development, and Customer Care and external partners such as ground handling serivces, ground transportations services, and airline.

  • Assist external and internal guests with all requested information and resolve any guest issues, including damage/lost luggage, service recovery, flight issues, etc. using programs such as Patron, Opera, VIPR, Microsoft Office (most notably Excel), and MGM Flight Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • One (1) year customer service experience

  • Ability to work various shifts, to include weekends and holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. Administrative and clerical skills.

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms, in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally.

  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
