Starting Pay: $17.00 / hr

Position Summary Description:
Pulls customer orders using a pick ticket and builds order for delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Pulls customer orders from store pick slots by utilizing a pick ticket and a pallet truck or shopping cart.
2. Stacks cases or eaches according to company standards and builds orders to be delivered by a third-party transportation company.
3. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, in preparation for final check and delivery.
4. Marks materials with identifying information.
5. Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance with company standards.
6. Ensures that all products stored and/or selected for delivery are free from damage and/or pest infestation.
7. Compiles storage and/or selection date for daily reports.
8. Prepares orders for shipping with appropriate labeling information.
9. Follows established safety standards for proper food handling and date rotation procedures.
10. Performs similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
11. Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

Qualifications:
Education/Training and Experience
One year of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the foodservice industry.
