About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Nutrition Program Coordinator to join our team at Sunshine Schools NC. As the coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of the children in our care through the development and implementation of nutrition programs.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee nutrition programs that meet state and federal guidelines
• Coordinate with food service staff to plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
• Educate staff, parents, and children on the importance of healthy eating habits
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food service

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
• Previous experience in child nutrition or food service management
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding child nutrition programs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Possess or obtain ServSafe certification
