WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Manage multi-line telephones, answering the caller’s questions or directing the caller to the appropriate party;

• File documents in accordance with established filing systems in a timely manner.

• Handle requests for records as appropriate; i.e., copying of medical records for insurance companies and attorneys.

• Maintain appropriate stock levels of supplies; order supplies as necessary.

• Work assigned work queues within the patient accounting system(s).

• Document activity in an accurate and timely manner in the patient accounting system.

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal billing regulations. Report any suspected compliance issues to management.

• Review and process all attorney letters and subpoena requests.

• Process incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail from the respective departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required High School Diploma/GED

• 1 year Computer experience Preferred
