Job Description

Private-Practice Counseling Clinic in American Fork, Utah, seeking qualified, dedicated, and talented mental health therapists. Strong candidates for this position will have experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy and mental health treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clinic focuses on the treatment of anxiety disorders. In addition, we provide comprehensive training to our therapists in OCD treatment. We offer a pleasant, supportive, work environment to make a difference in the lives of members of our community. We value evidence-based work and compassionate treatment toward our clients. We aim to provide our therapists with an opportunity for personal, professional, and financial growth as they work on achieving effective progress with their clients.

Responsibilities

This position will include providing weekly therapy for clients, writing case notes, coordinating care with physicians, writing and following treatment plans, maintaining accurate records, and monitoring clients’ progress. Training and experience in evidenced-based treatments such as CBT, ERP, PCIT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR are valued.

Qualifications

Must be in good professional standing. Must demonstrate good clinical/therapeutic skills, diagnostic skills, and treatment planning. Basic understanding and the ability to utilize computer software and electronic record keeping. Timeliness, quality, and organization of clinical documentation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good work habits, self-motivation, openness to learning, and positive attitude.

Salary: Competitive and Commensurate with experience. Opportunity to exceed $100k/yr, dependent on hours worked and licensure status.

Our clinicians have the option of providing Telehealth or in-person services.
