The City of Columbus has a current job opening and is accepting applications for the position of full-time Community Building Janitor.

Pay Range is $16.62 – $21.89 per hour and offers a competitive benefit package.

This is varied, semi-skilled work in the cleaning of a public building facility. An incumbent in this class spends a majority of time cleaning on the first two floors of the public building.

Work involves responsibility for the efficient performance of a variety of building cleaning and housekeeping duties. Work is generally performed in accordance with established procedures, but specific instructions may be given for special projects. Work may involve with and observation by the general public. Work is subject to inspection by a superior for maintenance of established standards.

Position requires high school diploma or possession of a GED certificate.
