Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or FLMI designation with five years of insurance experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Acceptable score on an analytical aptitude test to suggest an adequate analytical ability necessary to perform basic compliance functions
- Good working knowledge of SFBL policies, procedures and products as they relate to servicing our business preferred
- Basic knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient in Excel or willing to become proficient in Excel through training
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurately complete all tasks and projects assigned to him or her by following written procedures designed to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, statutes and rules.
- Research, review and communicate changes in regulations, statutes and rules as they apply to an assigned subject matter.
- Cross train in other compliance-related areas, as directed by the Compliance management.
- Assist with special projects or perform other compliance-related tasks as assigned by Compliance management.
