The purpose of this job is to operate under the guidance of Computer Operations manager in order to monitor/operate software and hardware according to pre-set instructions. Train and supervise operations staff. Ensure procedures are current and all staff has through understanding of all processes.
- Lead all staff
- Assist with shift staffing as needed
- Review and monitor operations tickets
- Monitor nightly batch processing for all applications
- Use CONTROLM to manipulate processing as requested
- Monitor ATM and communicate with vendor via ticketing system when issues arise
- Monitor file transfer system
- Monitor computer room and escalate issues as required
- Learn nightly application balancing process
- Learn Service Now ticketing system
- Respond to password reset requests
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school education
- 8+ years of computer operations experience
- Makes rational and timely judgements on the basis of information including relationships, patterns, causes and effects
- Customer service
- Uses various hardware and software programs as required. Microsoft Office
- Oral and written communication skills
- Operates by and adheres to a situation-appropriate and effective set of core values and beliefs
