Job Description
Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for the residential construction industry?
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Construction guru to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist with constructability and acting as the bridge between sales and production.
Responsibilities:
- Champion constructability throughout the project lifecycle, identifying potential challenges in the design phase and proposing cost-effective and efficient solutions.
- Work collaboratively with Design Consultants and Installation teams to define project scopes that are realistic, achievable, and meet client expectations.
- Procurement - ordering materials after reviewing contracts
- Communicate effectively with customers to address concerns
- Collaborate with production leadership to coordinate installation schedules dependent upon Installer skills and project scope.
- Work with in-house Permitting Coordinator as needed to arrange inspections with local building departments.
- Engage with procurement and management for materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction (kitchen and bath preferred)
- In-depth understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and constructability principles
- Ability to analyze existing conditions as it relates to scope of work
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills (will need to speak with customers)
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
