Job Title: Construction Project Manager – Industrial Storage Tanks.

Location:  East Lake Forest, CA

Type:  Full-time, In House

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Manager to join our team. In this key role, you will work closely with the VP of Project Management and Senior Field Coordinator to oversee and manage water storage tank projects from the initial design phase through to the successful completion of installation. Your ability to coordinate across departments, manage timelines, and ensure client satisfaction will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Project Management and Senior Field Coordinator to plan and execute projects from start to finish.
  • Review project plans and specifications to determine the full scope of work and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Conduct thorough contract reviews to identify key terms, conditions, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring that fabrication, shipping, and installation milestones are met on schedule.
  • Coordinate with field personnel to organize and oversee the installation process, ensuring that all activities are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Order necessary supplies, materials, and equipment in a timely manner to avoid project delays.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for job sites, ensuring all necessary preparations are in place for smooth operations.
  • Work with the accounting department to request purchase orders, track invoices, and manage financial aspects of the project.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, follow up on payments, and address any concerns or deliverables.
  • Manage the closeout process for completed projects, ensuring all documentation is finalized and any outstanding issues are resolved.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, making adjustments to plans as necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale industrial projects, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, including basic AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
