Contract Compliance and Professional Services Procurement Director

The primary duty of this position on the TCCC Global Indirect Procurement team is to lead the Contract Compliance program to ensure supplier compliance to the master contractual agreements which span amidst the entire supply base. Work with Global Procurement and business partners across multiple divisions to gain alignment on opportunities and complete contract compliance reviews by 3rd party auditors assessing any contract noncompliance and negotiate recoveries from audit findings.  Based on audit findings, successfully negotiate, and ensure recoveries are received back to the correct internal business owners.

Secondary, the role coordinates strategic sourcing initiatives in Professional Services categories. The individual will be charged with formulating and implementing sourcing strategies, overseeing negotiations and contract processes, as well as managing supplier relationships, with a particular emphasis in Professional Services. The position provides advisory services to various department stakeholders and contributes to the strategy and policy creation to ensure efficient procurement of goods and services both within and outside of the company. As a responsible representative of the company, the role is central to strategizing and developing a supplier evaluation process that ensures optimal terms, manages risks, and seeks out new opportunities for sustainability and other significant innovations and business goals. The incumbent is responsible for managing a value creation budget, project management, supply risk management, providing policy input, and mid-term planning in collaboration with numerous business partners and Operation Units throughout the company.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Build alignment with internal stakeholder groups concerning contract compliance audits opportunities, negotiate audit findings, and work with Finance to ensure findings are sent back to the correct internal budgets.

  • The role is strategically focused on determining and implementing the correct category and sourcing strategies for professional services categories by utilizing the marketplace to support future business requirements. In addition, the role must create and implement the optimal negotiation strategy to finalize complex agreements with suppliers to meet our business and legal requirements.  The key goals are to deliver value and manage risk with the ideal supply solutions for each category.

  • Influence, persuade, and motivate key stakeholders (e.g. senior management of the Coca-Cola Company, Business Unit Stakeholders, Bottlers, Suppliers) to implement the global & regional category strategies by clearly demonstrating the value and linkage to their business plan goals and objectives.

  • Lead Supplier Relationship Management partnerships with global suppliers that generate business specific objectives, address critical supply issues, and execute against objectives to generate shared value between organizations.

  • Ensure cross-functional participation in processes which require routine interaction with mid-and executive level management.     

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum 10 - 15 plus years in procurement or sourcing experience with category management responsibility

  • Experience in managing transformation routines and disciplines to drive and measure economic value to the company. 

  • Passion for driving value through audit programs and strategic sourcing initiatives. 

  • Interaction with Procurement/Business leadership and other internal and external stakeholders.  

  • This role will also have to influence internal and external stakeholders.  

  • The experience and ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex category strategy development and strategic sourcing initiatives is required.

  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation.

  • Relationship management abilities including stakeholder collaboration / alignment and ability to interact with the most senior leaders of large global suppliers.

  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to develop/maintain productive business relationship and persuade/influence directly and indirectly

  • Lead RFPs, negotiations and execute contract agreements.

  • Collaborate with others who are not a direct report to balance work assignments and stakeholder needs.

Pay Range:

$130,000 - $157,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
