SUMMARY 
Performs various tasks to ensure meals are prepared and served by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Plan and prepare meals for bunkhouse residents.
 
Cleaning. This is to include sweeping, mopping, cleaning all appliances and periodically deep cleaning kitchen and dining areas.

Performs other duties as instructed by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS 
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situation.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY 
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
