Our custodial staff play an important role in providing our students with a safe, comfortable, and clean place to learn, play, and develop. Custodians with Silver Falls perform a variety of tasks that involve the general care of building and grounds.

This position is at Butte Creek Elementary School and Silverton Middle School and will begin as soon as possible. It is a swing shift position, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Pay ranges from $16.98 to $21.74 per hour (Column F of the Classified salary schedule) with evening shift differential for hours of work performed after 6:00 PM.

To succeed in our custodian role you must have the ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff; must have basic reading, writing and math skills; ability to use cleaning materials and equipment with skill, efficiency, and safety; ability to care for different types of building surfaces; and knowledge of requirements for maintaining school buildings in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
