Role Overview:

Join the team as a Customer Service Advisor, where you will provide exceptional service to both members and potential members. Your role will involve ensuring all member requests are completed from start to finish accurately and efficiently, adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will play a vital part in helping members improve their lives through product education and guidance on using our self-service technology. *Looking for candidates that have banking experience.*

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • 75% - Welcome and greet members and potential members, introducing yourself and offering a warm welcome. Accurately and efficiently process all member requests. Assist members with the use of self-service terminals and discuss cross-sell opportunities to enhance their experience and save money. Help members with opening and servicing accounts, products, and services. Provide demonstrations of self-service technology.
  • 5% - Quickly and accurately learn products, services, and procedures.
  • 5% - Exhibit excellent communication skills in person and over the phone, tailoring the features and benefits of our products and services to meet member needs.
  • 5% - Maintain appropriate records and prepare required reports.
  • 5% - Open and close the branch office when scheduled or in the absence of a Supervisor. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

  • Provide informed, prompt, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and coworkers.
  • Ensure all operations comply with governing regulations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed branch service standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.
  • Execute responsibilities with minimal errors, adhering to department standards.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to cross-sell products and services.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly cross-sell goals.
  • Adhere to department core service standards.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Interpersonal Skills: High level of trust and diplomacy, extensive personal contact, ability to influence or sell ideas or services, and fostering sound relationships with others.
  • Other Skills: Ability to handle stress, respond to member questions professionally strong verbal and communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and ability to operate office equipment such as a PC, adding machine, copier, fax machine, and scanner.
