KOST USA is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. We are looking for a self-motivated, punctual, professional, and organized individual who enjoys detailed work and a fast-paced environment. This position is critical to our operations and is an integral part of the Customer Service team tasked with creating a positive customer experience for all our customers.

Job Responsibilities:
Data Entry/ Order Processing
  • Ensure proper creation and timely handling of customer orders.
  • Ensure pricing and order details are correct.
  • Create COAs and BOLs as appropriate.
  • Utilize customer's business system if required to enter or gather information.
  • Enable effective and pleasant customer interactions while ensuring that our existing terms and conditions are understood and followed with few exceptions.
  • Respond effectively to customer and inside sales inquiries and requests with a high sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of both the customer and the Company.
Logistics Coordination
  • Arrange for freight to deliver order as requested by customer.
  • Support customers with orders, ship dates, expedited requests, complaints and questions and provide the necessary follow up to ensure resolution in a timely and satisfactory manner, both on the phone and through written correspondence.
  • Assist customers with information requests such as invoices, reports, shipping paperwork, and other requested information. Ensure that all customer service-related paperwork is maintained in neat, accurate and easily accessible files.
  • Communicate status of orders including shipping and delivery timing as needed.
  • Process customer returns and order changes according to established company policies.
  • Resolve product and/or service complaints by understanding and clarifying the customer's complaint, helping the customer to determine the cause the problem, selecting the best solution to resolve the issue and following up to ensure effective resolution.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of KOST USA Product and Service Offerings to be able to respond to customer inquiries.

  • Demonstrate collaborative, cross-functional support with value and respect for all employees.
  • Always maintain a professional and calm demeanor.
  • Provide administrative assistance and support as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or associate's degree with at least 2 years of data entry or data management experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to navigate computer systems with ease.
  • Can easily input and manage data utilizing multiple computer screens.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, make data-based decisions, and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable in a paperless work environment.
  • Ability to sense and relate observations to improved business opportunities.
