  • Responsible to greet people entering Bank in a positive and professional manner providing customers with a positive first impression of CUSB and direct to appropriate personnel, schedule customer appointments and answer incoming phone calls, determine caller’s purpose, answer inquiries or forward calls to appropriate personnel or department. Scheduling of Grange Hall meeting room and CUSB Bank moving trailers.
  • Responsible for responding to inbound calls, emails, text messages, banno chat sessions, and any other communication channels, to assist customer and potential customer’s inquiries by properly identifying the customer and providing information/assistance accurately, efficiently and professionally.
  • Responsible to keep office secure by following procedures, monitoring vendor logbooks, and issue visitor badges.
  • Researches and resolves customer questions, inquiries, requests and problems in an empathetic manner. Effectively analyzes every situation and determines an appropriate solution and response.
  • Ability to service CUSB Bank electronic banking services, ShazamChek debit/ATM cards and Elan credit cards. Provide internal and external customer service for electronic banking services and card related issues. Ability to print new debit cards, deactivate debit/ATM cards as directed by management (e.g., fraud, NSF activity), file disputes and notify customers of potentially fraudulent transactions detected through Fraud Monitoring Systems. Administer Elan credit card applications and checkback credit card payments.
  • Performs transactions such as account transfers, stop payments, orders checks, reset passwords for online and mobile banking, reset PINs and performs maintenance on debit and credit cards, etc.
  • Knowledge of Teller Capture, coin machines and money counter, ticket processing, transaction procedures and customer service techniques as illustrated by the Manager or designated trainer.
  • Process checking and savings transactions including but not limited to total and balance all checks, deposit/withdrawal slips, cash tickets, placing holds on deposits; mortgage and retail loan payments; and Mastercard/VISA transactions. Locate and reconcile any transaction errors. Note and verify significant information as required by Bank policy and procedures. Follow Bank procedures when performing transactions on Teller Capture and other equipment as required.
  • Knowledge of acceptable cash drawer limits as stated in Bank policy. Maintain adequate working funds. Verify and balance assigned cash drawer daily with an acceptable level of cash variances keeping balance below the maximum level. Purchase working money supply from Vault Teller as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer account information. Follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests. Takes ownership of customer concerns and strives to be the primary connection between the customer and CUSB Bank
  • Maintain favorable customer relations and cross-sell Bank services through needs identification thus ensuring the most positive and profitable relationship possible exists between the Bank and its customers.
  • Fully embrace technology utilized by CUSB Bank including but not limited to internal facing technology and software and understand customer facing technology by personally utilizing it whenever possible as outlined in the CUSB Employee Standards
Requirements:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years of relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Ability to operate the following equipment: PC and printer, telephone, calculator, copy and fax machines.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Demonstrate math skills as required to this position which includes adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

· Oral and written communication skills as appropriate to this position.

· Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

· Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.
