Specific responsibilities include:

• Receive customer orders by telephone, fax, and other electronic means and enter data
• Discuss delivery times, issues and handle customer concerns
• Create sales order numbers for orders and communicate with customers.
• Communicate and distribute orders to production and plant management
• Create shipping papers for loads
• Contact and dispatch drivers for shipments posting time in and out for each shipment
• Keeping log on drop trailers & shipments
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent data entry skills a must
• Possesses a sense of urgency and takes ownership of assigned projects.
• Proficient in English with excellent verbal communication and written skills
• High school education required; Associate Degree Preferred
• Two years customer service experience
• SAP Experience
