Cooperative Veterinary Care, a worker-owned cooperative, has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Veterinary Customer Service Representative at our Mazomanie Animal Hospital (Mazomanie, WI), with some cross training at our Spring Green Animal Hospital location (Spring Green, WI).

At our worker-owned cooperative, all employees—from boarding staff to veterinarians—have a voice and a stake in the business. New employees are eligible to become owners within 1-2 years!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Customer Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary practice. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and their pets, as well as supporting the veterinary team in delivering high-quality care.

What You'll Do:

• Be the friendly face and voice for our clients
• Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive experience.
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
• Help maintain accurate patient records and update client information in the system.
• Process payments and handle medical collections with professionalism.
• Assist with basic pet care tasks, including handling animals during check-ins and check-outs.
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technicians regarding patient needs and appointments.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting is beneficial, but not required
