Healthy Dollars, Inc. is a third-party administrator of HRA, FSA, DCA, HSA, and Cafeteria plans. Incorporated in 2008, we focus on delivering top-notch service to our clients with over 20 years of combined expertise. This part-time on-site role as a Customer Service Specialist at Healthy Dollars, Inc. in Essex Junction, VT involves handling day-to-day customer service inquiries via phone, email and mail. The position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to assist our clients efficiently and professionally.

The ideal candidate should love to talk to our customers and be a real “people person” with the goal to solve difficult issues. Insurance and employer benefits are confusing to navigate, and our goal is to be a beacon and resource to those we serve. We believe that to be successful, our Customer Service Specialists are the friendly, patient voice on the phone that will calm our client's concerns and help them understand their plans as clearly as possible. Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
  • Provide ongoing support to clients
  • Respond to all inquiries, requests within a specific time frame
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Process all change requests timely
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Work as a team to ensure all clients are taken care of
  • Document customer information within our customer service database
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
  • Other duties as requested

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years customer service experience
  • Experience with medical billing, coding, HRA’s, FSA’s or medical insurance preferred
  • Reliable, consistent, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to recognize and respond to tone and communication both verbally & in written form
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and proactive
  • Possess and upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Professional phone etiquette
