Data Analyst – DART Program

The Data Analyst is responsible for assisting corporate business departments with analyses, report generation and special projects that may arise. This position is part of the DART (Data Analytics Rotational Training) program and is a key role in providing analyses and insight for management to make informed decisions. The DART program is looking to develop business users who understand the value behind the insights that lead analytical initiatives. Rotations enable analysts to build competencies across a spectrum of subjects to accelerate growth. Choose from different rotations to best utilize your unique skills set:

Possible DART Rotations: FP&A, Performance Management, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Compensation, Marketing, Audit, Tax, SOX & Advisory, Digital Innovation, Quality and Business Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science and Technical Accounting, and more!

Responsibilities

  • Interpret data from various sources, provide high-level insight to senior management.
  • Build and share presentations containing key financial metrics and insights to business partners.
  • Provide key information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentation of findings, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to understand business objectives and accomplish projects.
  • Create trend analysis and forecasting models; identify and present findings and opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of reporting.
  • Develop broad understanding of all organizational data and intercompany processes; offer improvements to workflow.
  • Participate in refining and developing process and tools that support team objectives.
  • Complete any Ad-hoc reporting or special projects as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field
  • 0-2 years of previous experience in a related role
  • Microsoft Office – Proficient with products such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Organization – creating and keeping easy to read files, allowing easy transition of projects and review backside data/calculations
  • Technical Comprehension – learn/understand data and formulas that are used to determine performance metrics
  • Complex problem solving – identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate potential solutions
  • Detail oriented – strong desire for accuracy is critical
  • Critical thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Collaboration – Avoiding and resolving conflicts that may arise when working with new team members
  • Active listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying and taking time to understand the points being made
  • Time management – ability to prioritize workload and manage time spent on projects

Desirable Qualifications

The following knowledge, skills and abilities are beneficial, but not required:

  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
  • Exposure to SQL/R/Python or other programming languages
