Nursing Resources Work Shift:
Day (United States of America) Salary Range $54,846.00 -$ 87,754.00 Data Analyst supports the Department of Nursing Resources through organizing, modeling, optimized reporting and analyzing large and varied data sets from multiple sources to assist strategic decision makings for Nursing leadership. Identifies trends in data sets and defines data collection and analysis processes. The Data Analyst works closely with team members to ensure the integrity and quality of data is maintained.
- Pull and integrate data from disparate sources
- Design and develop databases that organize the integrated data in a manner that data retrieval can be done efficiently
- Data mine, develop and prepare data to provide useful information for internal and external stakeholders using various statistical tools
- Convert data into reports and visualized formats that can be comprehended and utilized easily by Nursing leadership
- Maintain a data repository to provide appropriate information that help in strategic planning and decision making
- Gather and process financial, staffing, human resource data and other business data as requested by Nursing leadership
- Provide comprehensive quality assurance of department databases, including data validation
- Maintain data integrity through collaboration with the designated contact for each source system to assure consistent data flow and quality of data
- Prepare dashboards, documentation and update standard operating procedures related to data collection, monitoring and validation processes
- Work collaboratively and is a liaison among Nursing Organization, Finance, Payroll, Human Resources and Information Services
Education requirement – Computer Science major or related fields with coding skills
Skills – database management, statistical analysis and visualization of analyzed data
