What You Will Do:

The Hot Section Module Center (HSMC) is seeking a data analyst to join the newly formed Digital Transformation (DTx) team in improving the way the organization utilizes data. The team cuts across functional areas, supporting stakeholders across the business by providing digital products that increase the velocity of information flow within the organization and enabling access to more advanced analytics where necessary. Our team is looking for members who are curious and enthusiastic about data, analytics, and continuous improvement.

This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of developing a new discipline in module center engineering and driving cultural change towards a connected, automated, and intelligent future in HSMC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources and convert raw data into meaningful and actionable insights
  • Work with diverse stakeholders to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for digitization.
  • Develop and deploy reporting tools that can be used across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Work closely with the Digital Technology team to ensure data infrastructure meets organizational reporting needs
  • Support stakeholders with statistical analysis to identify trends, validate assumptions, and test hypotheses
  • Create documentation and standard work for digital products

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s in quantitative field like mathematics, computer science, engineering, finance, etc
  • 3+ years of experience in a related role
  • 2+ years SQL
  • 2+ years Power BI or similar BI software like Qlik Sense or Tableau
  • Strong communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Python
  • Experience with SAP and Solumina
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with change management principles

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
