Seeking experienced  High Energy, Can Do - DoD Manufacturing Sr Operations Manager with active Secret Clearance with  for Billion Dollar Leader in the Defense Industry in Camden, NJ

Sr. Operations Manager is responsible for strategic and daily execution of the manufacturing function and will report to the Director of Operations.

Will Need a broad depth of knowledge in the manufacturing of Defense products that include Cable Harnesses, Automated Circuit Card Assembly, Cabinet and Console Assembly of complex Military equipment.

 Facilitate Manufacturing participation in design development to identify and address manufacturability, production and testability issues.

Collaborate with Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Material Management, Material Planning and other functional organizations across Camden, NJ.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree 12 years of prior DoD Operations Management experience; including knowledge and understanding of manufacturing methods, lean methodology, production planning, quality management systems.

OR Graduate Degree and 10 years of prior DoD Operations Management experience; including knowledge and understanding of manufacturing methods, lean methodology, production planning, quality management systems.

OR

In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior DoD Operations Management experience; including knowledge and understanding of manufacturing methods, lean methodology, production planning, quality management systems.

Must be a US citizen

Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Lean & Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.

MUST have manufacturing/production experience in a DoD Environment

30% travel domestic and international - MUST have passport

Security Clearance Required: Yes
