Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Deli Associate. As a Deli Associate, you will play a vital role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Assist customers in selecting and ordering deli items
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of food products
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product expiration dates
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Upsell additional deli items or promotions to customers

Skills:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or deli environment is preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and retail math
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
