Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and freshness. This role is ideal for those who have a passion for food, a knack for sales, and a desire to work in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot and cold beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, responding promptly to their needs and requests.
- Assist with food preparation, including cutting, wrapping, and plating.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ordering of supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, café, or similar food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle a high volume of customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to help with food preparation, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques is beneficial.
