Position: School-Based Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Denver, CO

Responsibilities: As a School-Based CNA, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the school nurse in providing direct healthcare services to students under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Supporting students with activities of daily living, including toileting, grooming, and mobility assistance, as needed.
• Monitoring and recording students' vital signs and health status under the direction of the school nurse.
• Assisting with the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers and following school district policies.
• Providing emotional support and comfort to students who may be experiencing illness or injury.
• Maintaining a clean and organized healthcare environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure the well-being of all students.

Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Colorado.
• Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a school or pediatric environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification
