Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Cloud Sourcing, Spares, Sustainability and Security organization. We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Lead to deliver strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts with the highest impact to the organization, our partners, and suppliers. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, business leads, IT, and architecture leads to ensure that business outcomes are prioritized and successfully delivered. This role requires solid communication and change management skills to drive, integrate, and sustain process and system transformations across the organization and our supplier network, onboarding them to new processes, systems, and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the digital roadmap in alignment with our overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with executive sponsors, key stakeholders, business owners, and IT leaders to ensure the most impactful business outcomes are prioritized and operationalized.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs on-time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them and develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of the programs and use data to drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to deliver ongoing value to the business.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Provide regular updates to executive sponsors and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming
    • OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming
  • Significant supply chain experience and managing complex transformation programs
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to create processes, procedures and communications that can be used to maintain a world class, high-tech supply chain capability roadmap.
  • History of developing trusted partnerships, collaborating across teams, coordinating multiple timelines, and managing complex, cross discipline projects.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and influence key stakeholders.
    • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
    • Substantial communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Lean Six Sigma/Black Belt certified or equivalent demonstrated ability on approach and methodology.
    • Knowledge of common industry methods, processes, and tools used to manage and develop. business roadmaps, ROI analysis, and OKR development.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading digital transformation programs and delivering measurable results.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Solution Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $292,200 per year.
