THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking an experienced Director of IT Asset Management to lead and develop our ITAM division, overseeing the management of IT hardware assets for corporate clients. You will be responsible for strategic planning, operational excellence, and client relationship management at the highest level. This role involves directing ITAM operations across multiple teams, developing and implementing long-term strategies, and serving as a key advisor to senior leadership on IT asset management.

This is a full-time, exempt, onsite position M-F 7:30am-5pm.

THE DAY TO DAY:

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the ITAM division, aligning with overall company goals
  • Lead multiple teams across warehouse, fulfillment, and client-facing operations
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new ITAM technologies and methodologies
  • Manage the division's budget and financial performance
  • Lead high-level client meetings and business reviews, presenting strategic insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of ITAM services across the organization
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and industry regulations
  • Support new client opportunities to expand the ITAM division
  • Mentor and develop leadership talent within the organization
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, positioning the company as a thought leader in ITAM
  • Oversee and optimize the entire IT hardware lifecycle, from receipt and inspection to deployment and retirement
  • Ensure the division consistently meets and exceeds client SLA requirements
  • Lead the development of forecasting models for staffing, inventory, and other operational needs
  • Analyze and optimize inventory levels across internal and client locations
  • Develop and implement strategies to resolve complex issues and oversee large-scale device deployments
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, using data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure strict adherence to all data privacy and security protocols
  • Develop communication strategies to keep teams informed of changes and incorporate feedback effectively
  • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of operational and quality standards for imaging, configuration, and deployment of devices
  • Lead the development and implementation of new procedures in partnership with clients
  • Oversee asset audits and strategic reporting initiatives for clients
  • Develop strategies for hardware repair, upgrades, maintenance, and refurbishment programs
  • Ensure accurate asset tracking and documentation across multiple client accounts
  • Prioritize critical workstreams and allocate resources to ensure timely delivery of high-value deliverables

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ability to stand in one place for extended periods of time without fatiguing
  • Ability to work and look at a computer screen for extended hours per day
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • The ability to pass a drug test/background screen with no prior convictions of theft related felonies in the last 7 years
  • The ability to speak/read English fluently
