Director, Product Owners:
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Owners/Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance and support to Product Owners/Business Analysts in their day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring alignment with product goals and objectives.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the product teams, encouraging innovation and experimentation.
- Identify and implement improvements in processes, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage a large team of POs/BAs and build the appropriate organizational structures to support the team and center of excellence.
- Collaborate with product management to define product strategy, vision, and roadmaps.
- Ensure that product backlogs are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure that product requirements and expectations are clearly understood and met.
- Oversee the product development process, ensuring timely and quality delivery of products and features.
- Implement and advocate for Agile methodologies and modern product development best practices within the product teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support to drive product development and enhancements.
- Agilist - apply Lean and Agile principals in a constructive manner, to improve productivity, employee satisfaction, time-to-market, and quality
- Partner with the agile transformation leadership team to continue to promote our agile journey, starting with defining and executing a roadmap for PO/BAs and elevating agile to our business and stakeholders.
- Ensure that the voice of the customer is integral to product decision-making by gathering and analyzing customer feedback and market research.
- Work with Product Owners/Business Analysts to translate customer needs and feedback into actionable product requirements.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of products and the performance of Product Owners/Business Analysts.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to team members.

Required Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes.
- Preferred agile certifications (ex. CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM) and agile coaching experience required.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Experience with product management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, etc.).
- Strong customer focus and experience in gathering and analyzing customer feedback.
