We are a fast-paced logistics company looking to immediately fill our on-demand QC Dispatcher position in our Baltimore location. We have been servicing our clients for over 20 years and have achieved incredible growth creating a need for new dispatch/quality control positions. Starting pay is $18/hr but it is negotiable for a higher amount with proven experience.

As a Dispatcher you will be part of a skilled dispatch team maintaining our fleet of on-demand and route drivers. Due to time-sensitive nature of our business, multi-tasking must be a strength and candidates will be required to maintain positive attitudes with enthusiasm and high energy throughout the day.

Your duties may include:

• Must have multi-tasking abilities and can thrive in a fast-paced environment that changes daily
• Answering calls and emails from clients, drivers, and other staff members/offices
• Communicating vital information regarding shipments
• Build professional rapport with the fleet and establish mutual understanding of clients' concerns and needs
• Screen phone calls and route to the appropriate parties
• Enter orders through phone or email accurately and effectively
• Research and analyze route pickups efficiently
• Follow up with issues from pickups and/or deliveries
• Review workload and ensure pickups occur properly
• Assist train and maintain driver fleet

Requirements:

• Full-time including after-hours and weekends
• Working knowledge of Baltimore & Washington D.C. Metropolitan areas
• Active listener with excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work well under pressure
