Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join National Print Mail Center team as a Mail Processing Specialist I. As a mail processing specialist I, you will support GEICO’s mail operation and support timely delivery of incoming and outgoing correspondence with a high focus on efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, the position requires the ability to adapt as we continuously evolve our operation with enhanced technology and equipment which you will be responsible for operating.
Qualifications:
  • The work requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Materials, equipment, etc. are required to be moved from machines.
  • Work activities involve combinations of walking, kneeling, climbing, pulling, bending, lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods.
  • The work requires the ability to operate equipment and machinery.
  • The work requires the ability to communicate with coworkers and troubleshoot issues that may arise in equipment.
  • The work requires the ability to see and hear in order to detect problems and ensure the safety of associates and others.
  • The job requires the operation of test equipment for meters and may require fault location and other electrical equipment.
  • The job requires the use of computers and calculators.
  • Future work practices may necessitate the use of different equipment, machines, and tools.
Schedule:
Current opening is for a three-day work week with hours being 6:30am – 7:30pm. Shifts rotate every 6 weeks with the workweek beginning on either a Saturday at 6:30am or Wednesday at 6:30am.
