Summary:

The Documentation & Training Coordinator is a key support role within Powin’s global Projects Organization. This position is responsible for maintaining the processes and systems that capture, store, distribute and manage the organization’s knowledge resources. This Coordinator ensures the efficient administration of document libraries and training programs across all regions, focusing on accuracy, consistency and accessibility.

Job Details:

  • Maintain global documentation and training systems and processes
  • Coordinate onboarding for new employees across all regions, ensuring they receive the correct documentation and training materials
  • Process documentation update requests, prioritizing and scoping in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including publishing eLearning modules and assigning new curriculum to new employees
  • Maintain a centralized global repository of the Projects organizations documentation, ensuring all materials follow standards and version control process
  • Support the development of clear, concise and comprehensive documentation to support change initiatives, including user guides, manuals, process workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other instructional or training materials
  • Stay informed of best practices in documentation and training methodologies
  • Serve as a global point of contact for employees seeking documentation or training materials, guiding them to the right resources for their region and role
  • Administer surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding, training and documentation materials across regions
  • Track the usage of knowledge resources globally to identify patterns and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with Powin’s Technical Publications group and other business units to align global knowledge management with organizational goals
  • Coordinate with regional teams to ensure consistency in documentation and training practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 1-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a global organization
  • Familiarity with training delivery (virtual, online/on-demand, in-person)
  • Experience in document management systems and version control practices
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, presenting and listening) and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to align communications with the end user in focus, delivering clear and simple messages
  • High attention to detail and highly organized; ability to multi-task several projects at once
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
  • This position is flexible with onsite (PDX/Tualatin), hybrid and/or remote work within the United States

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills. The national Average Base Salary Range is $66,000-$88,000. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance.
