The Early Careers Program Lead will play a critical role on the Talent Management Team by helping to define, enhance, and execute our Internship Program and our College New Hire Program (STARs) and ensuring that these initiatives are complete on time and on budget. This individual will need to ensure that timelines and KPIs are met, including retention efforts for this new talent, and then help with the reporting and communication of success to senior leaders.
Responsibilities
  • This role will report to the Sr Talent Management Partner, and will have responsibility over the intern and early career programs
  • Own the creation and constant improvement of the curriculum for the intern and early career programs
  • Continually identify and assess the training needs of the organization and partner with the Learning team to refine the curriculum
  • Partner with key business leaders to execute the intern and early career programs, ensuring that the participants are developing the skills and knowledge they need to be successful at Texas Capital
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition throughout the Early Career recruiting process
  • Own the University Relations strategy in partnership with our Talent Acquisition team, our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team, and our Community Relations teams
  • Identify the metrics and KPIs for the early career programs
  • Utilize data to show return on investment
  • Manage the budget and own vendor relationships for all early career programs
  • Collaborate with Learning Team and identified SMEs to develop training materials that result in sustained skill and behavior development
  • Effectively communicate and partner with HR business partners, key business leaders, managers, and other leaders throughout Texas Capital
  • Keep up to date on training trends, developments and best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience (essential)
  • 5-7 years experience in training and development or a related field
  • Proven experience as a project or program manager
  • PMP or equivalent certification desired
  • Ability to set and work to deadlines, hold others accountable and ensure timely completion of milestones
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Critical thinker with innovative problem solving skills
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools
  • Familiar with traditional and modern training processes
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Strategic and creative mindset
