Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Billing Manager, you will be responsible for providing supervision and structure for the department’s daily operations and functions. You will work to meet or exceed department productivity and quality standards by coordinating staffing and developing efficient workflows. You will also guide the staff in their day-to-day responsibilities, including mentoring and training the staff as needed. Proficient in facilitation and interpersonal communication, you will also consistently demonstrate skills in organization, prioritization, professionalism, and coaching others.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee the EDI Billing process for electronic and paper claims including coordination with clearinghouse
• Proactively review and provide data analysis and financial impact assessment
• Oversee payor response processes and inventory
• Oversee payment and remittance resolution process
• Assist in timely month-end closing activities
• Promote continuous improvement and best practice in processes and performance for improving billing, timeliness, and ensuring data accuracy

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.
• Minimum three years’ experience in related area preferred with two of these years being healthcare management experience or completion of the Parallon Manager Trainee Program.
