Role Overview:
Lead and manage complex electrical and specialty systems construction projects with precision and expertise. Ensure every project meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and profitability while overseeing field staff and managing risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical construction projects, ensuring safety, profitability, and timely delivery.
• Documentation Management: Handle all project documentation including submittals, RFIs, addendums, proposal requests, change orders, and meeting minutes.
• Contract Review: Evaluate client contracts for compliance and readiness.
• Project Submittals: Ensure timely and accurate submissions from subcontractors.
• Change Orders: Prepare and issue estimates for work beyond the contracted scope.
• Project Closeout: Complete all closeout tasks, including punch lists and as-built drawings.
• Meeting Leadership: Lead and document meetings with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and oversee project-specific safety plans.
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and change orders.
• Material Procurement: Work with the Purchasing Manager for timely material delivery.
• Problem-Solving: Quickly resolve project issues and maintain strong client relationships.
• Team Leadership: Mentor less experienced team members and track time of direct reports.
• Software Utilization: Use CRS, PTS, Apex, ConEst, Sage, and other software for effective project management.

• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related project management software.

Interview Process:

• Initial Surveys: Complete two surveys (10 minutes and 40 minutes).
• Virtual Interview: Meet with the owner and possibly a manager.
• Final Interview: Interview with the department manager, followed by a decision.

Additional Information:

• Remote/Hybrid: No. This role requires in-office presence and site visits.
• Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
• Security Clearance: Not required.
• Visa Candidates: Not considered.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of project management experience on projects exceeding $20MM.
• Estimating Skills: Proven experience in preparing and analyzing electrical estimates.
• People Management: Minimum 5 years of experience managing direct reports.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
• Medical Benefits: 100% paid by the company, including family coverage.
• Vision: $400 allowance per year.
