Base Pay: $25.02 an hour, with additional education opportunities increasing pay up to $40.05 an hour.

The Electronic Technician Apprentice is responsible for the troubleshooting, analyzing, repairing, calibrating, modifying, programming, and installing of any form of plant instrumentation or electronic equipment, under the guidance of a journeyman. The ideal candidate will perform these duties on electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or hybrid plant systems, with assistance of a journeyman.

  • Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected. Basic Computer skills preferred.

Shift Information: 12-hour shift, New hires would likely be placed onto the night shift.

  • 2-2-3 continuous work schedule (This scheduling allows for some natural overtime and gives a three-day weekend every other week)

Work Environment: Texarkana, AR Plant

  • The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.
  • The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy.
  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED or the Workforce Center's Career Readiness Certification (CRC) with a minimum of Silver Certificate level
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations
  • 2 years of electronics experience or training from a technical school
  • Must complete aptitude test and hands-on assessment administered by an outside party
