About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and data-driven Email Marketing Associate to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, generate leads, and increase conversions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, excellent writing skills, and the ability to analyze campaign performance to continually improve results.


Responsibilities

· Develop and manage a comprehensive email marketing calendar aligned with overall marketing strategy and business goals

· Create compelling, personalized email content that resonates with various audience segments

· Design visually appealing email templates that adhere to brand guidelines and render well across different devices and email clients

· Segment email lists and develop targeted campaigns to improve relevance and engagement

· Implement A/B testing for subject lines, content, design, and send times to optimize campaign performance

· Monitor, analyze, and report on key email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.) to stakeholders

· Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and maintain email deliverability best practices

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (merchants, design, marketing) to create cohesive marketing campaigns

· Manage and maintain the email subscriber database, including list hygiene and growth strategies

· Stay up-to-date with email marketing trends, technologies, and best practices


Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, or related field

· 1-3 years of experience in email marketing or related digital marketing role

· Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, Marketo)

· Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft engaging email copy

· Basic HTML and design skills; experience with email template design is a plus

· Familiarity with CRM systems, and marketing automation tools

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights

· Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques

· Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and anti-spam regulations

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Collaborative team player with effective communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with marketing automation and lead nurturing strategies

· Knowledge of SEO principles and their application in email marketing

· Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)

· Experience with dynamic content and personalization techniques

· Certification in email marketing or related digital marketing disciplines
