As an Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will beresponsible for leading a team of engineers and driving the development ofcutting-edge technologies critical to the success of our diverse product lines.You will provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the team, ensuring theirprofessional development and success. The Engineering Manager oversees theentire engineering process, ensuring the timely and accurate completion ofprojects. You will develop and implement engineering standards, processes, andbest practices to optimize efficiency and quality. Collaboration withcross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement inengineering processes is also a key responsibility.

This position will work out of our Olathe, Kansas location and will be 100%on-site role. In this role, you will be the top engineering leader at theOlathe site, and as such your responsibilities will include coordinatingengineering support of the production lines, leading your own team ofengineers, and representing engineering in the site leadership council. Youwill impact Honeywell by improving process efficiency, fostering collaboration,developing talent, ensuring effective project management, and drivinginnovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
  • Oversee the engineering process, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of projects
  • Develop and implement engineering standards, processes, and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Ensure effective project management and alignment with business objectives
  • Participate in the Olathe Site Leadership Council
  • Manage overall health and welfare of engineering employees in Olathe
  • Support the planning of site events
  • Lead and participate in outreach events
  • Senior leadership interaction

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOUMUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of Engineering, Business Management, Customer Support
  • Proven track record of leadership and project management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and work effectively in a team
