The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

Summary of Role:

RTX is seeking a Corporate Enterprise Services Continuous Improvement Lead / CORE Strategic Engagement Lead to join the Enterprise Services Operational Excellence team to drive continuous improvement across functions and organizations. This position will report into the head of Enterprise Service Operations Excellence leader.

The role will be accountable for managing complex partnerships and demand that drives improvements throughout the life cycle of key processes utilizing expertise and leadership skills to resolve issues and realize outcomes from strategic engagements. The ideal candidate will lead multiple integrated and interdependent efforts to impact cross-functional scope, help deploy and implement the CORE operating system for Enterprise Services. This individual will develop and leverage change leaders to empower individuals to drive process improvement towards capability benchmarks, interacting closely with various levels of leadership to deliver results.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drives implementation of continuous improvement strategy to accelerate results

  • Resolves critical, high-visibility problems to deliver service maturity improvement

  • Defines standard work and fosters commitment to change

  • Leverages continuous improvement methods and tools to define standard ways of working

  • Improves flow of people, process, and/or technology throughout key processes

  • Optimizes work environment to reduce waste and increase productivity

  • Develops and leverages talent to achieve targets prioritized and aligned to the strategy

  • Supports outcomes to optimize strategic influence and operational excellence

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience

  • Continuous Improvement Expertise (either Six Sigma Lean Black Belt, CORE Professional, CORE Expert, or CORE Expert in Training)

  • Project and program management experience

  • Change management experience

  • Ability to identify areas of significant business impact for improvement opportunities

  • Ability to interface directly with senior leadership to positively influence and lead cultural change

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experienced user of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience working under dynamic and uncertain business conditions

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification

  • Change management certification (ADKAR)

  • Excellent leadership skills and experience with cross functional teams

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including experience presenting to senior leadership

  • Demonstrated experience managing resources and multiple complex engagements simultaneously

Minimum Program Qualifications

To qualify for the RTX Re-Empower Program, candidates should:

  • Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application

  • Have prior experience in functional area of interest

  • Have interest in returning in either a full-time or part-time position

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
