Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to offer tailored nursing care to residents. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. You will possess a solid foundation of nursing expertise, catering to residents at every stage of health care, from preventive measures to treatment.

Responsibilities include:
• Conducting thorough resident assessments and planning individualized care.
• Education and support of residents and families regarding care processes.
• Coordinating care and implementing various nursing interventions.
• Assuming charge nurse duties and delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Staying compliant with the Nurse Practice Act and professional ethical standards set by the American Nurses Association.

Qualifications
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is also preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if applicable.
• Commitment to obtaining and maintaining departmental competencies and certifications.
