Position: Events Coordinator
Hours: Part-Time, 30-35 hours per week (potential for full-time in 2025)
Pay Range: $17 - $20 per hour
Reports to: Marketing Director

Job Description:
Boneyard Harley-Davidson is seeking a highly organized and motivated Events Coordinator to join our team. This role involves planning, organizing, and executing events that capture the spirit of the Harley-Davidson lifestyle. This is a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time in 2025. Some weeks may require up to 40 hours of work. The Events Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and facilitate dealership events, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
• Maintain a detailed weekly and monthly events calendar.
• Promote events through our website, social media, email campaigns, and in-store signage.
• Secure volunteers and supplies for weekly events.
• Manage and track event expenses to stay within the marketing budget.
• Coordinate with vendors, HOG chapter, volunteers, and charities as needed.
• Assist the Marketing Director with other duties as needed.
• Post-Event Analysis: Collect and analyze feedback to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
• Community Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, charities, and organizations to foster partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
• Logistics Coordination: Oversee all logistical aspects, including setup, teardown, and crowd control.
• Customer Engagement: Interact with customers during events to enhance their experience.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Volunteer Training: Train and supervise volunteers for event duties.
• On-Site Management: Be the primary contact during events, managing any issues that arise.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage event-related inventory, including promotional materials and supplies.
• Creative Input: Contribute ideas for new events and promotional activities that align with the Harley-Davidson brand.

Qualifications:

• Highly organized: Ability to manage multiple tasks and events simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the Harley-Davidson brand is a plus!
• Social Media Savvy: Experience promoting events on social media is an advantage.
• Availability to work Saturday events every week and Sunday events as needed (usually twice a month).
