Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our bakery in serving our Michelin-level chef-curated meals. Our chef/owner, winning Casper's Best Chef 2024, is looking for a server with fine dining experience to serve our intimate dining experiences, from our a la cart to our 5 or 9-course tasting menus.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the restaurant industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment. As an Event Server/Bartender, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by serving high-quality craft mocktail tails and serving wine at an elevated level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wine and/or craft mocktail pairings according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and taking drink orders.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and manage tabs for guests.
• Help with washing dishes for the chef as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in serving or bartending roles within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Knowledge of various beverage types, including cocktails, wines, coffees, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
• Familiarity with food handling regulations is advantageous.
• A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to continuously learn about new trends in the beverage industry is highly valued.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.75 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
